Don't get me wrong I have some amazing memories which I will always cherish but there have been some bad times as well, which I won't remember with the same fondness.
It's about getting the right balance which I didn't last year, I got hooked on the social side of uni and didn't focus enough on my studies which I regret now.
I hope to change that this semester though.

They're already established in the place where you are, and they know what's going on, and generally have some pretty good thoughts and advice. Also, they know which profs are good--that matters so much!
